Southern Shutter Company's recently upgraded manufacturing capabilities offer almost unlimited custom options; allowing customers to design and add a personal touch to their shutters. No other company offers as many shutter styles and wood species.
Exterior shutters in paneled or louvered styles are available in three lines:

- Also available are Board & Batten shutters in a variety of board layouts.
In addition to our extensive line of exterior shutters, Southern Shutter Company offers a complete line of louvered Gable End Ventilators. Constructed from durable Western Red Cedar, these ventilators are available in a variety of rough opening sizes and shapes, including gable styles.
To compliment our exterior shutters, Southern Shutter manufactures a robust interior shutter selection. Interior styles include movable louvers, fixed louvers and panels. Interior shutters may be ordered in pairs or completely finished including hanging systems to fit any window.
Western Red Cedar & More
Since opening the doors almost 50 years ago, our preferred material for construction has been Western Red Cedar. Western Red Cedar is naturally decay resistant, light weight, straight and has one of the lowest expansion ratios of any material. In addition, we offer a broad selection of wood species to suit your specific needs.

The utilization of some of the industry's most advanced equipment enables us to provide an almost limitless combination of custom options for both exterior and interior products.
Our Manufacturing capabilities include the ability to duplicate original shutter designs for historical authenticity.
Finishing Touch
Quality shutters deserve a quality finish. To ensure our customers receive the best possible finish with pricing flexibility to suit any budget, Southern Shutter offers complete finishing options for both interior and exterior shutters.
Exterior or interior shutters may be ordered unfinished, pre-primed or completely pre-finished and ready to install.
We will match any national paint for color or you may send a swatch. Paint, solid color stains, and semi-transparent stains are all options. Wiping stains are also utilized on both interior and exterior shutters.
